diy: tufted headboard
I've been eyeing tufted headboards for awhile now, searching for the perfect color to compliment our chocolate brown walls. After a little research, I've found it's actually a pretty simple DIY project. I've purchased the materials and just need a little inspiration to make it happen. Here are a few of my faves. This is a great DIY project. We recently did it ourselves and I blogged about it (step by step w/lots of pix) at http://retrorevivalbiz.blogspot.com/2011/04/we-made-tufted-headboard.html. Although in many ways it was an easy project we did encounter a couple of major headaches and then, fortunately, figured out solutions. Good luck to you!
