On top of the steep investment of the camera itself however, I would need to sign up for classes (because I don't know the first thing about photography (although I like to pretend I know)) and of course, I would need to accessorize.
Well, the accessory may need to be purchased before the camera because I am absolutely obsessed with this...

I recently got a Nikon D3100. I made it a priority to get a cute strap and camera bag in addition to my fun new toy. I love the sparkle strap! I got my case and bag from photojojo.
Do you love your new camera? My parents both have Nikons that I've played around with...I should probably consider one of those as well. I've not heard of Photojojo, but I am FB friending them right now. Thanks for the tips:)
I have the Canon Rebel T3i Digital SLR. I love it! It's super easy to use and it has recording functionality.
