I have this wild plan to one day paint my bathroom walls black. I know, it sounds crazy, but I keep stumbling upon pictures of powder rooms with stunning black walls. Hopefully my favorite paint, Behr Premium Plus Ultra, has the perfect shade for my loo.

A few months back I stumbled upon what has now become one of our favorite blogs, The Pioneer Woman. Ree Drummond, our newest icon, explains "I'm a desperate housewife. I live in the country. I channel Lucille Ball, Vivien Leigh, and Ethel Merman" and we love her. Her blog is a hodge podge of recipes, photography, and helpful household tips.

Every time a new recipe is posted by PW, both Hillary and I get giddy with excitement. Not only does every recipe look delicious, Ree includes step by step pictures so you can follow along with ease. It also helps that Ree is hilarious and her posts are highly entertaining.

These Bensimon Elastique Tennis Flats were in previous post, but they are too cute to not post again. These will be great for travel, a casual Friday at the office, weekend picnic, or an afternoon at the Nelson, etc. Now, what color to choose?

I love Madewell, the hipster sister in the J.Crew family. The last time I was in NYC I popped into the store and it was packed with great finds. I love their budget-friendly price tags and they are currently having a fantastic sale! I'm tempted to pick up a few items. I also think it's becoming apparent that I have a thing for poppy/coral/pink/red.

I've been searching for a vintage beverage stand with no luck (those can be so pricey!) so I thought I would start with purchasing some vintage glassware and barware instead. Baby steps, right?

And, after posting about these adorable gold rimmed glasses from High Street Market a few weeks ago, I'm finding fantastic vintage drinking glasses everywhere! I must purchase some soon! I'm thinking a big pitcher of sangria to accompany them? Cheers and Happy Friday!
